Posted by Hashim Abd Ghani On 11:58 PM
The guide lines and procudures in Pillars of Umrah (the Lesser Pilgrimage/Small Hajj) have been disseminated through books in various languages and courses conducted by various religious teachers (Ustazs) at various levels accordingly. The understanding of these Pillars are vital to those individual before undertaking the Umrah and if not performed accordingly, then the umrah pilgrimage will be null and void and can be a sinful religious act.

As quoted by Ali Shariati ( may Allah rest him in peace ) in his book ‘The Hajj’ : “Once you decide to perform hajj and take the necessary steps, you are on the road to the actualization of hajj. Before going to hajj you reside in your home, calm and reposed. Upon entering the state of mind for hajj, you arise and move away from your routine environment.”
